What to Expect

Are you looking for a way to strengthen the bond between you and your teen daughter? This workshop is the perfect opportunity to create a meaningful keepsake and develop a deeper understanding of each other through guided activities and heartfelt writing.

Materials and Snacks are Included!

    • A warm welcome and overview of the day's activities.

    • Understanding the importance of connection and communication in mother-daughter relationships.

    • Fun and engaging icebreakers to set a comfortable and relaxed tone.

    • Examples: "Two Truths and a Lie" or "Shared Memories."

    • Guided session on creating and decorating your shared journal.

    • All materials provided: journals, markers, stickers, decorative papers, glue, etc.

    • Tips and ideas for personalizing your journal.

    • Introduction to writing letters to each other in the journal.

    • A set of writing prompts to get you started, such as:

      • "A favorite memory we share is..."

      • "One thing I admire about you is..."

      • "I feel happiest when we..."

      • "Something I want to learn from you is..."

    • Optional sharing of what you wrote.

    • Reflect on the experience and what you learned about each other.

    • Encouragement to continue using the shared journal at home.

    • Tips for maintaining open and honest communication.

    • Closing thoughts and expressions of gratitude.
